Lilia A. Bayne is Senior Pastor at Triumphant Full Gospel Assembly (TFGA), an inner-city church in Brooklyn, New York. She has served in TFGA for the entire (44 Years) life of the church. She was spiritually nurtured by the late Bishop Harold L. Joseph and the late Rev. Dr. Eleonora Joseph. 

​Apostle Bayne is a woman of vision and faith. She believes that the Word of God is true and can move all obstacles. She wears various hats as she serves as wife, mother, sister, friend, pastor, entrepreneur, educator, writer, and counselor.  Apostle is a published author and certified professional life coach.  In the year 2000, as the Lord moved sovereignly, Pastor Bayne was called and elevated to the office of Apostle, by her Bishop and Overseer. She presently oversees other ministries upon their request for apostolic covering. ​ 

Apostle Bayne has traveled extensively. Her message is the Good News of the Kingdom; Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. She also ministers the Word of God fluently in Spanish, which facilitates her ministering to Spanish speaking congregations.  Apostle Bayne is the General Overseer of Iglesia Triunfante En Cristo, and Triumphant Gospel Fellowship, both located in Panama Republic of Panama, and various local fellowships. Apostle has established and directs the Triumphant Breakthrough Pantry and feeds our entire community and beyond, presently celebrating 30 years of service. (2020)

The State of New York, local assemblies and other institutions have recognized Apostle Bayne for her dedicated service not only to the Body of Christ, but also to our local community, society and our nation at large. These accolades have taken the form of citations, awards and certificates. Among them are included citations from the New York State Assembly and the Attorney General of the State of New York. ​

Apostle Bayne has earned a Doctorate of Christian Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling.  She has also been conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Ministry .

​Dr. Lilia A. Bayne is the author of her first book entitled, “The Color of Glory,” which is also available in Spanish (El Color De Gloria) published by Xulon Press.  You can purchase the book on her website  or at the church at Triumphant's Book Nook. She recently edited and published “Seasoned Nuggets”, written by her mother, the late Rev. Dr. Eleonora Joseph, also available at TFGA’s Book Nook.

As a teacher, she served for 35 years as Founder and Executive Director of TFGA's daycare and pre-kindergarten school known as Triumphant Dear God Christian Center.  Dr. Bayne presently serves as President of the accredited Empowering Leaders Bible Institute and Seminary (E.L.I.) located in Brooklyn, New York.

​Apostle Bayne and her husband Bishop Dr. Melvin E. Bayne Sr. now celebrate 52 years of marriage. Both are servants at TFGA and are the proud parents/grandparents of three “adult” children and two grandsons.
